is a creative technologist, visual artist and filmmaker working in Vancouver, BC. He manipulates networked systems to support broad applications of new media with an experimental ethos — utilizing real-time engines, sensors, and simulation. He builds and inhabits virtual spaces built with Aframe, Mozilla Hubs and Unity. In 2022, his space TempleGarden.xyz won a top prizes in the Monaverse Renaissance Buildathon. In 2019 he co-founded Inter/mediate Festival - a grassroots event series focused on diversifying the field of interactive technology. He currently co-operates Z Space: an independent studio and collective in Gastown – Vancouver, BC. Its members work in the fields of interaction, motion design, animation and art.Ostrem’s experimental animated work has shown in exhibitions across Canada, including New Forms Festival, Ottawa International Animation Festival, GIRAF Film Festival and Les sommets du cinéma d’animation de Montréa. Since 2012, he’s worked with Stan Douglas to excavate Vancouver history with detailed 3D reconstructions. The work finds multiple outlets, seen in the iOS app Circa 1948 (NFB), the play Helen Lawrence (Canadian Stage) and large format prints displayed in galleries such as Victoria Miro (London), Fruitmarket Gallery (Edinburgh), Haus Der Kunst (Munich), David Zwirner Gallery (New York) and in 2022 - at the Venice Biennale.
Ian Nakamoto is a Japanese-Canadian sculptor, researcher, and art fabricator from Richmond, BC. Trained as a monumental sculptor and animator, his practice focuses on exploring new ways of producing traditional figurative sculpture with emerging technology, with a focus on 3D scanning and 3D printing. He is currently the creative director at Forge Labs, where he works as a consultant and digital sculptor on fine art projects, film props, and archaeological reconstructions. Prior to this, he worked as the Creative Director at Pixel Light Effects developing customized 3D scanning hardware and software for the visual effects industry, and as a VR researcher at Emily Carr University of Art + Design. https://iannakamoto.com/

Satellite, is the SAT's web XR platform, launched in 2020 to support the cultural sector in Quebec. Based on the Mozilla Hubs platform, Satellite supports artists and partners in the creation and broadcasting of virtual experiences, events and arts.
